Arrival Time
From the handbook: "Unless they have a pass to see the teacher earlier, students are not to arrive at school before 8:45 a.m. Classrooms are open at 8:50AM, which is when supervision officially begins. Students walking or being driven to school will be required to wait in the vestibule until 8:50AM."
That being said, I am in school each day at 8:15 AM, and students are welcome to come in after that to complete work that may have been forgotten. However, I ask that children be walked into the building by a parent, and that they be accompanied by a classmate, sibling, or friend while working in the classroom. That is for my protection and theirs.
